ABOUT US
Who We Are
We are a group of people who are striving to be the disciples GOD has called us to be in the world. We are non-denominational, choosing God's Word (The Bible) to be our authority on all things. We recognize our Pastor as our senior leader, with accountability to God, our trustees and the members.
We value everyone who God connects to this ministry. We desire to see everyone's gifts, talents and skills at work for Jesus. Good times, enjoyable fellowship and meaningful relationships are important to us. We are comfortable and casual in nature, while still maintaining necessary structure and order.
What We Believe
GOD: We believe The God of The Bible is the only true and living God.
JESUS: We believe Jesus is more than a prophet; He is God in the flesh.
BIBLE: We believe The Bible is the only inerrant Holy Scriptures, authored by God Himself and recorded by men whom He chose as scribes.
HOLY SPIRIT: We believe The Holy Spirit is the way God moves in us to accomplish His will on the earth. We believe the Gifts of The Spirit and the Fruit of The Spirit are evidence that The Holy Spirit is within us.
SIN: We believe The Bible identifies all sin. Without repentance, we will spend eternity in hell. Yet, with repentance, we will spend eternity with God in perfect peace.
SALVATION: We believe God requires us to be holy, as He is holy. We believe God came to Earth as a human, Jesus Christ, to model holy living for us and to pay the death penalty for our sins. When we believe these truths about God, and cease from sinning in pursuit of holy living, we will be saved from eternity in hell.
DISCIPLES: We believe God expects us all to be His disciples. So, we will dedicate the rest of our lives to leading people into salvation through Christ, and helping them to become disciples for Christ.
OUR STANCE ON HOMOSEXUALITY
In today's world, homosexuality has become socially accepted by many. However, we believe The Bible identifies homosexuality as a sin. Therefore, we will only honor one's birth gender as their gender. We will only perform monogamous, heterosexual marriages. We will only recognize and honor monogamous, heterosexual marriages. We will only perform child dedications when the parents are heterosexual. We will always ensure our conduct reflects Jesus' teachings and example, while standing firm on His Word. In doing so, we believe we will be best positioned to help lead our homosexual brothers and sisters out of bondage and into God's desired freedom.

OUR VISION:
1) To daily increase the number of Jesus' disciples, and to continually equip and encourage His disciples.
2) To tangibly and spiritually impact every community where we have members (locally, nationally and globally).
3) To purchase or build a facility to house our adult, teen and youth worship services and community events.
4) To be a source of employment for our members and others.

Meet Our Founders
Pastor DAVID PORTER studied Business Management at The George Washington University and The University of The District of Columbia. He has over 20 years of corporate management experience, particularly in the legal industry. He has served as a Lead Pastor since 2007, with his first seven years being bi-vocational.
Lady NICOLE PORTER studied Business Administration at The Washington Business School. She is also a graduate of Bennett Career Institute and a licensed Cosmetologist. Her corporate background is with The United States Department of Justice, Fraud Division.
Called by GOD to establish a church that's built solely on His Word, David & Nicole launched The Life House in 2018. Along with their Life House Family, they are leading people into and through their GOD-designed lives.
