I BELIEVE There is only one, true and living God (The God of The Bible). He has revealed Himself in three ways:
1) THE FATHER, His invisible Presence as The Creator and Overseer of the entire world
2) THE SON, His visible Presence, known as Jesus Christ or "The Son of God"
3) THE HOLY SPIRIT, His felt Presence as He leads and guides us into all truth
Ephesians 4:4-6, John 1:1-18, John 10:30, John 16:13
I BELIEVE The Bible is God's written communication to us. In its original form, it is authored by God Himself and is without error. The Bible is our source for guidance, correction, instruction, inspiration and encouragement.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105, Hebrews 4:12-14
I BELIEVE that our sins have kept us away from God because He is holy. To remove this sin-barrier, God came to Earth as a human being (Whom we called Jesus) to pay our sin-debt through His holy life, crucifixion and resurrection. This is the only way that anyone can be restored back to God.
Because God did this, anyone can now be saved from the sins that have kept us away from God if they:
1) BELIEVE that God, as Jesus Christ The Messiah, paid our sin-debt.
2) CONFESS that they are a sinner in need of God's sin-barrier removal
3) REPENT by no longer sinning, but instead living according to The Bible.
Doing this will give us a new life, also referred to as being "born again" or "holy". This new life will also lead us into eternity with God after life on this Earth is done.
John 3:1-17, John 14:6, Romans 10:9-10, Hebrews 12:14, Romans 12:1-2
I BELIEVE The Church is God's plan for community for His believers, where they are encouraged and equipped to be His disciples throughout the world. Although the people in the church are not perfect, they are committed to living a sanctified life as God's examples of redemption, delegated spiritual authority and proclaimers of God's Word (The Bible).
Acts 2:44-47, Luke 10:19, Mark 16:17-18, Matthew 28:19-20
I BELIEVE that this world will not always exist. Once this Earth is gone, we will all face God to be judged of our life while here on Earth. God's final judgement will determine where we will spend eternity. For those who are not saved, they will live for eternity apart from God in eternal fire. For those who are saved, there names will be recorded in "The Book of Life" and they will live for eternity with God in perfect peace in a "prepared place".
